Bangalore: Indians are truly career oriented and do not mind switching from one job to another for better career options, says the quarterly work monitor report of HR service provider Ma Foi Randstad.
The survey took the factors like employee satisfaction and personal motivation to examine the mobility prototype of the workers and finally the result turned out to be that Indian are the world's most ambitious workers followed by Mexicans and Chinese.
Mobility among the working population of India has been observed keenly. The working population is very focused on their promotion in monetary and designation levels. This reveals the increase in target levels in Indian workforce.
The survey reveals the understanding of job market sentiments and employee trends. The survey was done in 25 countries among the workers for indicating about how employees make their moves while switching jobs at a short term level in contrast to other countries.
The mobility found in Indian workforce is more flexible and it is 147 index points in the second quarter whereas it was 140 in the first quarter of this year. Indians constitute the maximum number of workforce globally followed by Chinese and Mexicans.
They have also switched to different jobs in six months just because of better job offers. India's job switch index score is 45 percent and china's is 33 percent.
This survey would be helpful for the employers to bring out a solution to create a strong workforce. The survey includes countries like Luxembourg; Germany and Hungary where people are hardly switch their current jobs. In USA the mobility level is stable and in UK there has been an increase in the number of people switching jobs this quarter when compared to the previous one.
In India, it is Delhi where the mobility index is the highest and Bangalore experienced the lowest mobility. Surprisingly, the mobility trend is more among women than men. Employees with annual salary of 5-10 Lakh are more inclined to job switch
